Collagen is a hard, insoluble, and fibrous protein that makes up one-third of the protein in the human body. In most collagens, the molecules are packed together to form long, thin fibrils. These act as supporting structures and anchor cells to each other. They give the skin strength and elasticity.

Barbary fig seed oil is exceptionally high in vitamin E and linoleic acid. Also rich in beneficial betalains (powerful antioxidants), active minerals and amino acids, Barbary fig seed oil protects against free radicals, stimulates new cell growth, and calms inflammation.

Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) is a slightly yellowish or ivory colored natural vegetable fat extracted from the nut of the African tree Vitellaria paradoxa. The nut is primarily comprised of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, as well as Vitamins A, E and F, and Carotene. Vitamins A and E soothe and hydrate skin while boosting collagen. Vitamin F contains essential fatty acids which help to protect and heal.  The sheatree is native to Central Africa, where it is used as a source of vegetable oil. The oil from the fruit of the sheatree contains about 45-50% oleic acid, 30-41% stearic acid, 5-9% plamitic acid and 4-5% linoleic acid.

 Zea Mays In addition to its absorption qualities, it contains high amounts of cell regenerating ingredients and anti-oxidants. Its smooth, silky and creamy texture makes it apply easily and give a translucent sheen.. Its natural anti-inflammatory and infection resistance makes it a healing and clarifying additive.

By helping to reduce the amount of oxidative stress that occurs on the skin, the benefits of yeast extract can induce a calming effect that can help soothe and alleviate problematic skin. Furthermore, yeast extract has shown abilities in serving as a possible biosurfactant for moisturizing formulas. This allows it to boost moisturize-retention and improve overall hydration

Aniba rosaeodora is an ideal moisturizer for dry and sensitive skins, as well as for the mature. It is an oil with properties that is stimulating, soothing and regenerating. It is very good in treatments for acne, eszemas, wrinkles and stretch marks.
